Freedom. God's huge risk that went wrong?

Freedom!!!! The way we banter it about you would think we invented the damn thing. But we didn't ! This weird and strange concept that every human being longs to obtain started  before time and the garden of Eden. When God first formed the red earth into man. The first gift he give was the" breath of life." But the second gift was the gift of freedom! This was and remains a huge risk God takes. Everything he made was on the line. With his investment in this thing called freedom. The fallen angel Lucifer could not believe his good luck. Was God going to make the same gamble he made with this free will thing, that didn't turn out well for a 3rd of the angels? For He Lucifer took his free will and started to see himself a god. Being a creature of free will and one of amazing beauty and power and having The Most Highs trust. Pride snuck in.  This thought came to Lucifer, 'I will ascend to heaven; I will raise my throne above the stars of God, And I will sit on the mount of assembly In the recesses of the north. He oviously  thought he could obtain it.
According to scripture God created 3 Archangels (Michael, Gabriel and Lucifer) to administer the government of God throughout the Angelic Realm.  The one God created as the being of the greatest light and brilliance was Lucifer. Lucifer pleased God .

Until he started to fancy himself in the place of God. But why did God take this risk? God takes no pleasure in puppets.  He could've made mindless puppets that would not ask any questions or push back on anything . But He chose not to.

Well Lucifer not being one to miss an opportunity. Crept into God's new physical  realm and planted his seed of doubt!  Now the story of the garden of Eden may not be literal. It may be symbolic of what actually happened. That being said. The point is he planted his seed of doubt. Doubt in God's intentions . Lucifer is crafty. He came not to Adam but to Eve, why cause second hand knowledge is always easier to fuck with. God told Adam. Adam told Eve. Lucifer came with a veiled accusation " Did God say you should not eat of any tree in the garden". The serpent here is playing dumb. I mean if they could not eat from anything in the garden, where else would they get food? Duh!  God bless Eve's little heart . She quickly starts to defend her Father God. nooo God did not say this . He said only the tree of this knowledge of "good and evil". we  are not to partake, for if we do we will die! Ha Lucifer has his opening. Now comes his attack. But first off a little side thought here. What is interesting here is the fact that Eve didn't think it strange that a snake was talking her up. Which leads me to think that both Adam and Eve could communicate with each other and with all of creation using telepathy. Something we lost after the fall.

" "You surely will not die! "For God knows that in the day you eat from it your eyes will be opened, and you will be like God, knowing good and evil." Tempting man with the same thing that caused his fall! And he lied and told her she would not die. That same lie is repeated today in many religions and in many churches . The idea that man has a immortal soul is Lucifer's Lie.

But that is for another post.  This risky thing freedom creates this other thing called choice. Every day we are faced with it. And in this freedom we have a choice. A choice to believe the words of the Christ. " I am the way the truth and the life no one comes to the Father but through me." Understanding that the first century Jew would be shocked at what he was saying here. If you look back in the old testament

when Moses encounters the living God..Moses said to God, "Suppose I go to the Israelites and say to them, 'The God of your fathers has sent me to you,' and they ask me, 'What is his name?' Then what shall I tell them?" God answers him "I AM WHO I AM"; and He said, "Thus you shall say to the sons of Israel, 'I AM has sent me to you.'"… I AM! So what was Jesus really saying? This for another post.
Jesus came to save us from our wrong choices we have made in our Freedom!  God's risk continues.....
